Waiting on Wednesday

House of Hades by Rick Riordan

At the conclusion of The Mark of Athena, Annabeth and Percy tumble into a pit leading straight to the Underworld. The other five demigods have to put aside their grief and follow Percy’s instructions to find the mortal side of the Doors of Death. If they can fight their way through the Gaea’s forces, and Percy and Annabeth can survive the House of Hades, then the Seven will be able to seal the Doors both sides and prevent the giants from raising Gaea. But, Leo wonders, if the Doors are sealed, how will Percy and Annabeth be able to escape?

They have no choice. If the demigods don’t succeed, Gaea’s armies will never die. They have no time. In about a month, the Romans will march on Camp Half-Blood. The stakes are higher than ever in this adventure that dives into the depths of Tartarus.

Oh my freaking God, seriously. This is one of the only MG series I've ever read and loved and you guys, I pretty much grew up with these characters. AND THEN THEY FALL INTO FREAKING HELL.

Wonderful. Seriously. WHY ARE AUTHORS ALL SO MEAN. The only thing I really don't like is that it seems that we don't get anything from Percy's POV. Ummm...EXCUSE ME? UGH. I am both dying to get this, but I now I'll be anxious when I do. UGHHHH

  1. I hope you love House of Hades when you get it! I still haven't read a single Rick Riordan book, so we'll see how this goes.

  3. Is it bad that I haven't read anything by Rick Riordan yet? I think it is! I'll have to read something by him soon!

  4. I haven't read these books - past The Lost Hero. I liked The Lost Hero, but I wasn't a huge fan. Like, it was good, but I never felt the urge to read the rest of the books. My sister LOVES this series though. We both loved the Percy Jackson series though! That counts for something ;)

    Check out my WoW post!

  5. Oh my gosh I know how you feel! Rick Riordan literally made the Mark of a Athena a cliff hanger when he threw two of my favorite characters off a CLIFF at the end of the book. What kind of ending was that?!?
I read the Mark of Athena right when it came out too so I had to wait a year... only two more months left to wait. Author's are mean. Why do they make their books so good and then leave it on a cliffhanger? :P

Welcome all! I'd love to hear what you think, even if they're lies saying that my reviews are fantastic. I take flattery in all forms ;D
